Brochure/Species List Brochure/Species List Bird species lists and other pubilcations are available on site, in the main business office, at the Exhibit Museum and in our main viewing lot, #14.

Bus Accessible Bus Accessible Our auto-loop is bus accessible.

Camping/lodging Camping/lodging Camping is allowed during the waterfowl season, in the designated entrance lot only. Generally, this is not utilized by wildlife watchers, due to the noise level. Motel lodging is available minutes away, in Gridley. Camping by the river is available minutes away, in Live Oak.

Drinking Water Drinking Water Our drinking fountains are available at the Exhibit Museum, near lot #14, and in the main business office.

Fee Fee $4.00/person. The fee is waived for children under 16 years of age, and those who possess a valid hunting, fishing, trapping license or annual DFG pass.

Interpretive Signs Interpretive Signs Interpretive signs are posted in the main viewing lot, #14.

Lookouts Lookouts Viewing platform, 2 viewing hides

Restrooms Restrooms Accessible restrooms are located at the entrance check station lot and in the main business office.

Trails Trails 2.0-mile trail and 0.6-mile trail, winding through the sanctuary, are available year-around. Through the spring and summer, over 70-miles of levee roadways are available as well. Refer to the CA Dept of Fish and Game, Waterfowl Hunting Regulations for exact dates.
